Color on monitor

I have just bought the samsung monitor...how do I lighten the colors...they are too dark.

Do you have manual controls on the fron or underside of the monitor for contrast, brightness, etc ?

There should be a booklet or a CD with the manual for the monitor, check there. Will have all the options and settings listed.
