Color reproduction bottleneck

Does the graphic card in the PC have abilliy to bottleneck the color reproduction on a monitor? I know that some graphics card sometimes bottlenecks the refreshrate of a monitor, that topic seems to be well covered on forums. But i cant find anything on color reproduction.

My spesific case: I am intressted in good colors on my setup for browsing the web and playing back video. I got a intel 4400 sitting on a i3-4030U (yoga 2). Thinking about buying a U2715H, but i am worried of any bottlenecks i will encounter.

Bottleneck could be related only to speed and even that may be a moot point.
