Colorado Backup needed urgently

I really hope someone can help me. My dad has got a Colorado Jumbo 700 tape streamer, which was bundled with Colorado backup lite. However, my dad seems to have been using a later version of the backup program and when he re-formatted his machine last year, lost it! Now I have tried everywhere, even contacting HP, but they won't bloody help cause it is not supported any more. They want me to buy the latest version of the backup program. Ordinarily I would probably do so, but as my dad is getting a new machine soon, he will not be using the tape drive, so paying for a program that will only be used once is not on in my books.

Anyway, if anyone can help me then please let me know.

try reading it from windows backup/restore he may have used this instead of the colorado software.

He definately used Colorado Backup cause he used to have a shortcut to the program on his desktop (along with 500 others ;-).

Just had a mail from Colorado support and the latest version of the software does not read backups made with older versions of the software!! ARRRRGGGGHHHH!

Surely someone must have it...
