colored artifacts and rendering device shutdowns

Been having these sprites of color, i'm presuming they are artifacts? On games like Overwatch i just loose my rendering device after awhile and it closes down.
Things that i have tried so far.
-Declocked my PC
-Reinstalled my GFX drivers + tried re-rolling to better times
-Moved GPU to additional PCI slot (and back again after no change)
-Changed HDMI cable
-Returned to single use monitor
-Swapped Monitors

Intel i7 8700k Coffee lake
ROG Strix z370 F
Corsair 4x4gb DDR4 2000Mhz
GTX 1080 FTW 8gb
Corsair 750 CTX PSU
m2 Sata 1TB

Hey will have to wait for couple days till i get a new GFX card on order this card is a 6 month old, the previous GTX 1080 FTW blew up in my old PC.
If it's the GFX card i am not going to be impressed, as that means i've had 2 x £600 GTX cards die in less than 2 years.
