colors to back to being grayed out when i start a game

I got a new monitor that is a dell 1440p Gsync. I notice that the colors were grayed out so i went into the nvida control panel and made the colors to my liking but sometimes when i run a game the colors to back to being grayed out like before. Can i fix it to where it stays to the settings i want it?

The settings would be on the monitor itself not the computer. The computer's internal colours are perfect the way they are set, but each monitor displays them differently. I have a BenQ so not 100% about Dell, but there should be something like a "Picture Mode" or "Display settings" where you can change the colours to make them more vivid or what not.

I think Crixus' problem is that on the Windows desktop and in the nVidia control panel the colors are fine, but when he launches a game it switches back to grayscale.

Make sure that on the nVidia control panel it's not set to use different color settings for different programs.
