Hi all, I've got a bit confused when deciding on buying the XG270QG (when/if it ever becomes available).
Since the g-sync module stops the monitor receiving a 10-bit signal, the panel handles dithering and smooths out gradients, there is also no sRGB mode.. I do a large amount of work in Photoshop and After-effects, and was wondering whether gradients will receive a similar treatment in previews? I don't know too much about colour management / profiles so any advice would be much appreciated.
I was hoping the colour management in Adobe will show where banding issues occur on standard monitors. My fear is I'll see much cleaner and smoother image than the client will.
