they they went to paid content.

Good for them, I guess. I agreed with their reasoning to move to paid
content. Combatsim gave those looking for a controlled pay-for-entry
place away from the general madness a place to go. As a public site,
what's it got different than what's out there? Yet another forum
userid and pw to keep straight?

Ya got SimHq for general purpose sim stuff (any site is going to have
a tight policy in their public forums, after a while); Subsim for
your DW SH3 talk; Avsim.com (and others) for GA sims; Frugals World
for F4; Battle Front for DW and Balkans on Fire; diesimfanboi.com for
counter culture sim talk; USENET groups out the wazzoo; publisher/dev
forums; and so on.

What next, Rod White gonna roll PCME.com back out?

That website is run by a prick. I registered to join the forums using
my hotmail account and this is what the bung-boy sent back.

I would have my Mommy sign the form for me but there is no return
address to send the form back to. The site is run by Bard who is a
disgruntled ex simhq poster. I just wanted to post there to wind up
the silly twats anyway. Yesterday I was able to post as a guest and
say hi to our old pal scharmers but today no more guest postings
allowed for some reason.

That's ok,. I told Bard to unregister me. I don't want to hang with a
bunch of malcontents anyway.

Who cares? They had a good thing going. Great even, then they
wanted to change. Now they are free again and I could really
care.

mistake, once i pointed out to you what you had done you seemed fairly
civil.

then i stumble onto this thread...

everyone is welcome so long as they behave and have a clue.
