For a realtime application I have 2 Logitech webcams separated by about 10 -15 feet. I'd like to somehow combine and merge the feeds from the 2 webcams. I am thinking however because of perspective differences this is all but impossible.
Theoretically it can be done as this Disney research paper shows https://www.kurzweilai.net/how-to-create-a-seamless-panorama-video-from-multiple-cameras but I am wonder ing if there is any off the shelf software that will do this?

Solution
Yeah, combining video sources from multiple cameras into a seamless image is computationally expensive, since the software needs to deform the images to adjust for differences in perspective and lens distortions, and I'm not yet aware of any software that does that in realtime.

However, if you just want to take the video feeds from the two cameras and combine them into one video stream, and don't care about the perspective matching or things lining up at the center, I believe something like OBS should work for that. The result will still look like two separate video feeds side by side, but both feeds can be contained in a single stream...
