Generally, my internet is very stable and very good, as you can see here: http://beta.speedtest.net/result/6499890213
However, the past month my internet has been pretty slow periodically. The past week it's been especially bad, where 5-8 times an hour my internet will slow to a crawl (and my ping will spike to 500 in games) and I will disconnect for 20-45 seconds.
I called Comcast and it is unrelated to an outage. They told me I could try replacing my ethernet cable and modem/router, which I did, and my internet got slightly better (only disconnects once or twice an hour now) but it still disconnects.
A technician came over and messed around with the wiring and equipment and said everything seems fine, but of course that did nothing.. It's hard to show them there is still a problem when generally my internet is fine but it just dips out every so often.
Is there anything else I can try on my end that doesn't involve a new ISP? The only other available option is UVerse which was so awful I ran to Comcast, haha. My computer is hard-wired and all of my drivers are up to date. Thanks in advance!
