COMDLG32.OCX not correctly registered

I have this problem with a software? called COMDLG32.OCX... Basically, I have know idea what it is, or why I get the problem, and it is only with one app that I keep getting this problem. I know its in the windows system files, But I have tried reinstalling windows entirely, but the problem consists... and I have no idea how or what I should do. I even tried compatibility mode! So please, any help, please! I am running Windows 7 home premium.

That is not a win7 system file.
It was XP & Vista if i remember right. You will likely need to download and install/setup the winxp mode Microsoft developed for situations like this.

Thank you for the reply! Luckily the problem got resolved by reinstalling windows a second time, but I will definitely try this out the next time I run into the problem!
