Question Comfast CF-953AX not scanning 6ghz networks.

Hi!

I am seeing issue with Comfast CF-953AX USB wireless adapter not scanning 6ghz networks.
OS is ubuntu 22.10.

Observation :

With 22.04, comfast card not detected.
With 22.10, it is detected and scan 2.4 and 5 ssids, but not 6.

Question :

Is there any custom driver to make use in 6ghz, if so steps to accomplish the same.

its not able to pickup 6ghz networks, its hardware limitation, you will need different network card which supports wifi6e (6Ghz)

And there is a known working 6 GHz network in place that is visible to and working for other connected devices using 6 Ghz?

5.8GHz band is part of 5GHz band (5725-5850MHz) also called DFS (radar frequencies), not all frequencies in DFS are available, some countries blocks them, that is not in 6GHz band
6GHz band starts at 5925MHz and ends at 7125MHz

As Kerberos Said, you need WIFI 6E for 6ghz band. Wifi 6 is only 2.4ghz and 5ghz.

Thanks Everyone..missed these updates. Spec states is a dual band (2.4 and 5)
