So I recently bought a 4K TV during cyber Monday sales. Nothing special, just a Vizio 4k M55 or whatever. Note: I did not buy the TV to do gaming on it all of the time. There are some games that I'd like to be able to sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
My rig is:
i7 6700
16gb 2133mhz
1TB SSD
Corsair RMI 650W
EVGA 980Ti
I plugged it in and I was able to play battlefront 2 on it. Windows 10 was freaking annoying "hey we noticed it's blurry, want to change the settings"
Under my settings in the game I saw it was at 4k but only 30hz. Is it at 30hz because of the HDMI cable or the card? What settings realistically should I expect from the 980TI?
