Question Command promt opens and closes really fast

At random times theres a command promt called "c:/windows/system32/cmd.exe" opening and closing rapidly, sometimes it stays on and doesn't let my mouse move for a few seconds. I have no idea what this means but it throws me out of every full screen program i use. It happens every 20 - 30 minutes and i've had it for a month now. Help?

Might be some background program opening to run a script. I would consider running a full virus scan, followed by a Malwarebytes scan to see if you have a virus or an unwanted program on your machine.

If they come back clean, run CCleaner to clean up registry errors and program conflicts that may be the cause.
