will other fan brands work with the corsair commander pro? i was wondering about the enermax RGB fans.

While you can plug any brand fan into Commander Pro for DC/PWM control since it has universal 4-pin fan headers, LED control is proprietary and works only with Corsair products.

thank you for the response. that helps a lot. trying to figure out my lighting and fan control and really like the look of the enermax RGB fans but already have the Link software on my rig.

If you have Asus, MSI, Gigabyte or AsRock MoBo that supports RGB control then you can plug Enermax RGB fan to your MoBo to control it's LEDs.
