I would be grateful for some comments on my PC build below for machine learning. I plan to use ML methods (mostly deep learning, but also scikit-learn) with datasets of 100K or possibly millions of data points. What do you think?

I am going to use the machine mostly for prototyping, and will deploy to the cloud to collect final data e.g. for publications.
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900 3.7GHz 12 Core CPU - 5.4GHz Turbo
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX V2
  • GPU: NVidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16GB
  • Memory: 64GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5200MHz CL40 (2x32GB)
  • Primary SSD: 2TB WD BLACK SN850X NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD (7300MB/R, 6600MB/W)
  • Secondary SSD: 2TB WD BLACK SN850X NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD (7300MB/R, 6600MB/W)
  • CPU Cooling: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Pure Black CPU Cooler
  • PSU: Corsair RM850x V2 850w 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular PSU.
Thanks.

I am also looking for a case for the above Deep Learning PC. Ideally one that would minimise noise without compromising airflow and hence performance. I have considered various Be Quiet! models, such as the Light Base 900 FX, the Pure Base 500DX, or the Silent Base 802, and the Corsair 4000D Airflow. I'd be grateful for any advice. What would you recommend?

What country are you located and what is your budget?

Hi - I am in the UK, and my budget is £2500 - £3000, or about $2500 - $3200.
Another option to consider.

Thanks for your suggestions, however I am not building the PC myself, but will be using a third party seller (https://www.punchtechnology.co.uk/) to put it together for me, so I am constrained by what they have available, which doesn't include Intel Core Ultra 7. Here is a link to my current spec:

To provide additional details, I am planning to run both deep learning algorithms, which rely heavily on the GPU, but also scikit-learn regressions and boosted trees, which are more CPU intensive. My reasons for choosing a Ryzen 9 over, say an Intel Core i7, were the following:
  • Lower power consumption.
  • Cooler operation, aligning with preference for a quiet PC.
  • Fewer concerns about degradation and microcode updates.
