Hi all, first time building a gaming pc and was just wondering if I can get suggestions on how I am going so far. Money is tight due to the fact I am a student so I have opted to base it around the Ryzen 3 2200G because the vega 8 graphics seem quite impressive. In the future I do plan to upgrade to a proper GPU however all I plan to run is CSGO and other light games for the time being. Here is my build so far:

AMD Ryzen 3 2200G
MSI B450M Pro M2
16gb Kit G.skill flare X 2133mhz
WD Blue 1TB
Thermaltake TR2-S 650W
Deepcool Tesseract BF
Coolermaster 120mm x3

My reason for including so much ram is mainly because the 2200G greatly benefits from having a higher amount of ram in a dual channel system. Hopefully this should get me 100+ frames on high while playing Counter Strike but there are a lot of different sources and just needed some opinions on whether the money is better spent somewhere else.

Thanks for any support.

Not a bad build, my 2 recommendations would be: Firstly, see if you can find a faster RAM kit as it has favourable performance gains on APUs and just Ryzen in general (2800-3200 MHz is a good sweet spot). Second, The Thermaltake TR2 650w would be enough for the system but it isn't a hugely reliable/good quality PSU, are there other options around the same price where you are buying from? I would personally advise looking for a slightly better PSU for the long run, especially if you plan to upgrade over time. Outside that, the build should run CSGO really well, it isn't a very demanding game as you likely know. Hope this helps! :)

As said

Ram - minimum 2666mhz dual channel.

Psu - you dont, need 650w, a good 450w model would be better than that thermaltake

Case - if Youre stuck on the tesseract you do,jot need those 3 x 120mm fans.
The tesseract comes with both intake & exhaust 120mm fans prefitted

Don't necessarily have a set budget as of now however I don't typically want to spend too much more, maybe an extra 40-50 max.

Ok thanks for the help. Was a bit cautious of the fans in case I didn't provide enough cooling however it seems I should be fine.

40-50 max over what total ??

You havent actually mentioned what price those components are ??

Let us know your budget & location & you will undoubtably get some very good advice

Thanks for the information. The store I am currently looking at provides 2 PSU I might be interested in. The Corsair Semi Modular CX 550M and the Thermaltake ToughPower GX1 500W. Would either of these be suitable?
