Comments on PC Build req'd

I am thinking of getting the following components for a PC that will be used for movie and audio playback and general office apps. I want to keep it for a few years without upgrading and want it cheap as possible. Any comments appreciated:

Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz Socket 775 1333FSB 4MB

Not sure about this cooler - i just wanted something cheap - any suggestions?
Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Socket 775

Asus P5N7A-VM GeForce 9300 Socket 775 onboard VGA DVI HDMI Display Port 8 channel audio mATX Motherboard

Corsair 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2

I am in the UK and I need suggestions for places to buy these items (currently looking at ebuyer.com).

Also, any suggestions good or bad are welcome as i need the PC quickly. Also suggestions for the missing components i.e. case, optical drive, etc... would be very gratefully received !!

I'd drop the motherboard for something that doesn't use nvidia technology.

for a monitor for your needs there's a 2048x1152 23" monitor on scan for £150 by dell, specs seem pretty good though.

That is a weird resolution for a monitor....

Anyways, look at scan.co.uk and overclockers.co.uk too for good deals.

Those parts you chose look pretty good, apart from the MB. I would go for a Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L for your uses.

Are you going to overclock? If not, then just use the stock cooler. If you are, then that cooler you found is alright, I think I would go for the Scythe Mugen 2 though.

What do you already have that you will be using for this build? Mouse, keyboard, OS, anything? Are you looking for an entire build? And what exactly is your budget? What exactly do you want out of this PC (cool looking, refined look, quiet, what specific apps will you be using with it...ect).
