i3 6100 is not future proofed and you will see lags in ur game in next 3 years..
if you can compromise with it, then its totally fine, or else, get i5 6600 or 6600k.
And yes, get the 8gb instead of 2x4gb ram, if u want future upgrade for ur ram.
Looks like a lovely build to me. However, I have one suggestion - get one 8Gb memory stick instead of 2x4Gb RAM as your MoBo has got only two slots, it leaves you with the option of adding another 8Gb stick later and moving the memory to 16Gb.

Define future proof.

In today's fast changing world, especially in this domain, nobody can claim their build to be future proof, especially when you are looking at couple of years down the line, maybe less.

Even the i5 6600 gonna face challenges after 3 years. You may say that he might get an i5 6600/6600k if he wishes to have better frame rates than what can be achieved with the i3 6100 (in particular cases) when it comes down to playing games available today. But to get it inorder to future proof would be futile and a folly.

not really that challenge, if u are gaming at medium or high settings (and not ultra).
that's what i asked him, can u compromise? if yes, u can get the i3 6100 or get i5 6600
