Commercial casing?

Well... I'm not quite sure where to begin actually, but I'll just briefly explain a bit of my job, perhaps that will shred some light in this post.

I work for an R&D software company, by the time the software are ready, there will be hardware components to go along with the software, yes, we are pretty much selling software in a box, and in order to sell that product (we are still in the R&D stage, atm), that casing will have to be attractive to clients and customer, you might wonder... attractive? what does he mean? well, let me give you an example. Remember Cobalt? the little square blue box before Sun took over? Apple is another good example, superb design to their 'casing' of their products, as well.

So basically what I am wondering is that, would anyone here happen to know if any particular company out there that design and manufacture those commercial casings?

I believe Chenming will make cases to your specifications, Tom's did an article on production. Also SuperPower (the case company, not the motherboard/case company) will make custom faceplates for any of their standard cases, both will have a minimum order of course.
