Comp boots to Shell instead of BIOS

I just got a 1070, new thermaltake case, new Samsung 2TB HDD, and a crucial 525MB SDD. I was switch them all over to the new case (along with my old 650W PSU, Corsair H60 water cooler, I5 cpu, and MSI 970a-g46 motherboard), and i plugged in my bootable usb, but im only being taken to shell menu. And my usb devices (mouse and keyboard) wont power on. Help please!!!!

reset CMOS as first potential fix then report back

i reset the cmos by taking the battery out. i saw to take it out for an hour, i did for about 20 min then put it back in

you take the battery out and touch the positive end to the negative end for 5 seconds. it resets it. you should have a plus sign on the top side of the battery opposite of the release latch, take the battery out flip it upside down so that plus sign end touches the release lever end. then put it back in plus sign facing up opposite of latch like it was originally
