Comp entering power save mode when its set to never turn off display

Black screen during gaming.

Check your cables and plugs - something might be loose. If the black screen is temporary, check your Windows Event log to see if you had a GPU driver crash. If you need to power-cycle the display to get image back, your display might be dying - could be caps going bad in the display's power supply; I had this happen on two of my LCDs.
