Question Comp not detecting displays?

Hi there,

I recently built a new pc, with a ryzen 5 2600 and gtx 1660ti. I had some issues with the motherboard and got it replaced, rebuilt it and got it to boot.

I had it in my living room and connected it to my TV which worked well, booted into the bios and then to windows.


Well, I took it back to my room, plugged it into my monitors and they won't display anything. One of my monitors is dp and other hdmi, and the connection to my TV was hdmi so not sure what happened :/

Tried waiting a while, pressing space then entering my pw, then win + p a few times but nothing.

Pls help :/

No, the first time it booted into windows fine.

Although I might have to do a fresh install. When connected to the TV it gives me a blue screen with recovery options saying it couldn't boot into windows properly

Motherboard swaps require a fresh install even if it is the same model.

Oh okay, is there a way to wipe my current ssd? Or will it automatically overwrite the files on the ssd when I use my boot drive? Btw Nothing important is on it, just games.

Just go to settings search for reset this pc and delete all files or keep personal files. If windows is activated it will still be activated. This is probably the best method.
