Solution
If the cpu get's to hot to soon it might not be able to go to boot, but do the next first.

As already stated upgrade your bios to the latest version, you will find info about it in the user manual,
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/#support
download it under manual and documents and you'll find it under;2.2 bios update utility".It explains all, just remember to rename the bios file on the usb stick (!),which usb port to use and you should be fine.
A video that explains it,

If you have problems with the explanations in manual and video's i will try to do some extra explanation.Let us know how it goes.

PSU seems good...hmm

Try posting with just minimal parts plugged in and go from there. That's always a good way to troubleshoot. U might have a bad part. Are they all brand new parts?

HHD had problems before? Is it making grinding or reving noises?

The thing is the board doesnt have a hdmi port or vga port so i have to use the one on the graphics card, tried to boot with no ram, nothin, 2 sticks nothin, 2 sticks and 1 sata nothin. As for the HHD im assuming thats the solid state you are referring to. All the parts are new. The only grinding or reving noise is coming from the cpu fan which speeds up over time.

Is there a minimal amount of memory needed to flash the bios on the usb? Also how do i know it has already flashed? Thank you for replying

The light by the ram will flash for a bit when I first start it but it doesn't stay on like the one in the video. I held it down for the 3 seconds then it would go solid for a bit then flash and then it would stop.

So I tried every slot and the same thing would happen. The dram LED would flash twice then it would stay off. Same thing when I tried switching things around. I checked the asus user guide and it said that my ram is compatible. The thing is when I start the computer the CPU fan will start off normal and gradually go faster over a short amount of time. It gets to the point that the fan becomes really loud.
