Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of opening a networking company. I wish for some help from you guys on choosing a name for my company.

The name I came up with is Dranzer Networks. What do you think about this name? Does it look serious?

Please help! Any other name suggestions would also be great but please give me comments on the name mentioned above.

Thanks very much

Best regards,

Matthew James

I was about to say the same, but I will also be polite and answer his question as well. I think Dranzer Networks sounds decent. I came up with the name of my company by doing DNS name resolution to find a simple domain with pc in it. I wound up getting the domain.... http://www.netpcdoc.com I then derived The Network PC Doctor as a company name by the domain I could get.

I like the Dranzer touch in the name. But to insure success with your small business venture upon initiation, may I suggest you include the word 'Free,' and the phrase 'no money required networking' in the company name. Also, loosen the timing and bump up the NB @v.

Well, there's rarely any moderators here in the OCing sections and not that many people posts here so I guess it's fine. I'm not too keen on strictly regulating the rules. 😉

Imo, the name could be better. Dranzer Networks is an average name, not very catchy. This is just my opinion.

When you advertise in the Yellow pages, do not use their in house model. I noticed she is doing the septic tank cleaning ads too. BTW, my wife's name is Penny and we are doing fine in business 'since 1986'.
