Compaq CQ45 wireless problem

My laptop wireless connection is playing up. I've tried everything from turning the modem on and off to having a tutu in the internet properties, hell I even reset my computer back to when I first got it but i'm stuck I don't know what to do next, it's just not picking up on anything. Please help!

It could just be your wireless card has gone bad.
