Hi all,
Recently I got an HP Compaq 8300 CMT at the local college surplus store for $100. It has an i5 3570, 4gb of ram, a 250gb hard drive. Which i thought was a steal. I'm planning on putting in my Visiontek RX-470 which was bottle necked by my AMD A10 5800, and of course upgrading the ram to 16-24 and putting in my two SSDs. I got around the customPSU problem with a handy adapter, which lets you use any normal PSU with the motherboard of the HP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VCslFs6lW0. (There are versions still available in US).
However my problem is with the motherboards form factor. I'm was hoping to put it in my old Gazza case that has better cooling. However I'm unsure of the form factor of the motherboard, and I don't want to move it around more than nessesary because it looks rather flimsy. So I was wondering if anyone knew what form factor it was, and if it would fit in an ATX board space. I've tried google, however due to the prebuilt nature of the board its rather hard to find.
Thanks!
