Hello! I have an old mini 110. Just installed Windows XP SP3 32-bit, from scratch. I installed all drivers from the the official HP site. But something funny happens with the Broadcom wireless driver. Let me explain from the start:

When I open the netbook, the WiFi led on the switch is blue. When widows load it turns to orange. The other thing is that when I disable the driver from the device manager, the light turns to blue again.
While the light is orange (= the driver is enabled) , NO WiFi connections are shown on the connections list.. When the light is blue (=the driver is disabled) I don't see a tray on the down right corner nor the WiFi adapter next to the ethernet, on the adapter window.

What can I do to fix this? Windows can't find an update on the driver or any version at all, and the other driver the atheros, won't install because it says that it can't find a suitable wireless adapter probably because it's on the websites for other versions of the same laptop that use the atheros one..

Found it. I had to install HP wireless assistant and enable the adapter from it. Now the button turns blue, and I can enable/disable wifi by using it. The wireless assistant, has to be installed in order to use the button, for some reason.

Needs .Net version 2 so install it before trying to install the wireless assistant.
