Compaq Presario Problems

Hello,
I have a presario c300 that had power issues,the charger light at front would flicker, I replaced ac jack, same issue, i replaced adapter, same issue, i then came to the conclusion that it was motherboard, i replaced it and now the battery will charge but system will not power on. I have reseated everything and took out cmos battery but same issue. any ideas?
