i would like access the internet using a wireless air card how can i make the possible using my old outdated computer

Do you mean a wireless card to connect you to a router -- or are you talking about cellphone type wireless ?

The wireless card (or adapter) goes into your computer.

It then connects wirelessly to a wireless router (probably provided by your internet carrier).

You need both.
