Hey all
I've been lookin for compaq's TFT7020, but can't find it here in europe (Denmark). The only thing listed here is the TFT7010. The specs are about the same, the response time is 35 instead of 25, a bit wider viewing angle and no speakers.
Is the TFT7010 just an older version, or the european version of TFT7020 ???

TIA
Nikolaj

Hmm, I haven't seen a 7010. From teh response time and what you say, it's either some sort of European version or older version not listed anymore. I'd assume the lather actually. Why not purchase it off the internet?

have you tried <A HREF="http://www.compaq.co.uk/" target="_new">compaq in the uk</A>? I'm not sure if that would help you but I found <A HREF="http://www.compaq.co.uk/products/monitors/tft/tft7020/index.stm" target="_new">this page</A> by doing a search on google

Since companies like Dell, Compaq and Cornerstone are true e-commerce vendors, they sell primarily online do not rely heavily on resellers. I doubt that MonitorsDirect could sell Compaq products at or below what you could find at the Compaq site. If you can find better prices for Compaq products at other sites this would explain why Dell is taking market share.

Companies like Sony, ViewSonic, Hitachi, and Samsung rely on the reseller base for the majority of their sales. This is why they are a good fit for MonitorsDirect.com

Ok, juts a suggestion. By the way, I had mistaken you for another website, but your website actually is really cool and organized compared to theirs. Kudos, you're a great company from what I hear:)

woohoo
Just found the TFT7020 - and am going to order it monday. Is it worth to pay extra for the version with build in speakers (it's about 20 $) ?

Well, it depends. If you already have a good speaker set, then teh speakers on teh LCD won't compare- teh speakers on monitors often have a metalicy ting to them when they play music.
