I have a problem with my compaq v2655ts motherboard which is the fan runs continuously , i know its not a overheating problem , because when i was trying to clean my motherboard once when the laptop was on and running a screw fell near the cpu socket something short circuited and the system immediately shutdown and after that the fan was running continuously , so please help me to solve this problem .

Parden the pun, but you "screwed up" by trying to clean your pc while it was running. You are lucky it still works. I would'nt mess with it anymore until you can afford a new one. Start saving. Most likely the board is the source of the fan running too fast; replacement boards new or used are expensive for laptops, so I would leave it alone.
