Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6 installed but does not compile

Hi all,

After finding some very usefull tips on this forum (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/2083-63-compaq-visual-fortran-64bit), I correctly installed CVF6.6c on a Windows7 64-bit computer.I ran the setup86.exe and run the program as admin.

I can open the program correctly and read my old fortran programs.

However, whenever I click on build or compile the program shuts down with the following message:
"Microsoft Developer Studio (R) has stopped working"

Any help would be more than welcome, I would love to keep using my CVF

CVF6.6c compiler is a 32 bit application. One of those which DOES NOT work on a 64 bit machine

you need VMware or other machine emulator to create a virtual 32 bit machine on your 64 bit machine, or simply use a different machine which is a 32 bit

I use Windows 7-32bit but I still have problem same as Tomvw-"Microsoft Developer Studio (R) has stopped working". Can anybody help?
