I want to built a new rig.Which cpu is better for gaming AMD FX 8370 or Intel Core i5 4690???

Go the i5. I am AMD now, If I were to upgrade I would go Intel.

What is your specific budget and goals for this CPU?

That out of the way, the i5 be the better option, it has better single threaded performance, which is better for gaming.
