Compare core 2 duo and amd turion II processors

Can you compare the Core 2 duo with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD to the AMD Turion II with ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics with regards to speed and smoothness of function when multitasking?

Usually intel mobile processors are usually faster and more efficient, but with weaker graphics. AMD has more power hungry processors, but have superior graphics. Overall as a platform I prefer AMD. Based on processor I prefer Intel. Graphics AMD. I've had both and for basic things like surfing the web and office applications the difference is minimal.
