Compatability IPIWB-PB Motherboard w/ AMD R9 270X?

Scrolling through the forums, I've seen all sorts of troubles with the R9 270X not working right off the bat when placed into a machine. I need to know if the graphics card & mobo can be rigged to cooperate, or if I need to return the thing and shop around again.

Is there a reason that no signal is being received by the monitor then? All connections are fine, power supply is more than enough, etc etc

I've tried half a dozen other threads. None of those solutions worked. Should I assume that I have a bad card?

i suggest you talk to the hp costumer care since its their motherboard and they lock up and restrict hardware in their proprietary motherboard sometimes....
