compatability of mobo and NVME

motherboard used msi z270 tomahawk

will the ssd work in the m.2 slots provided? or would you recommend a cheaper one or better one? i dont have much of a budget and its going to be used a lot with gaming heavily through the day and night

If you can pay a little more for the 960 evo it's probably worth it.
If you want to pay less, in the mixed r/w the WD isn't even beating the old sata III 850 evo.
The mixed r/w QD1 metric is more realistic then only looking at seq speeds.

Your board looks compatible so long as you don't fill all your addin card slots.

the 960 evo is like 3x as much where i live, thats a no go.
