I wanted to confirm if the below would be compatible.
I'm looking to get a MSI 970 Gaming AMD 970 with a AMD Piledriver FX-6 Six Core 6300 3.50Ghz plus G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17066 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit with a 750w corsair hxi. I already have a a gtx760.
From reading the forums I know that the cpu should be compatible with the mobo. However my main concern is the ram.the mobo supports 2133 oc however the cpu goes up to 1600. I am no expert in over clocking and it's something I am looking to do in the future but would that ram be fine to just plug in and go. I am assuming it will get down clocked to 1600 .
In summary will all the components of this rig work fine together if I assemble them straight from the box without any over clocking or mods.
