Hello i was planning om getting this build.

I was wondering if i needed to get that large of a PSU my friends told me that they wouldn't trust the given 310v.

Also if the board is good for a sight OC.

And if that board would be okay to use to different 1x8 ram sticks as i would intend to choose the 2 1x8 options if this is possible.

PSU-wise. I see that you plan to overclock. I am running a similar non-overclocked system on a good 450W power supply.

is the list we use to judge power supplies. A good (tier 1 or tier 2) PSU in the 550W to 650W range will take care of your moderately over-clocked system. Before making a final PSU decison, read the reviews for that supply.

You have bought a Z97 board and it will allow for moderate overclocking.

If gaming is your main purpose, 2 x 4Gb is best. If you already have a 1 x 8Gb stick, then adding another similar stick would work.

The CPU liquid cooler you have selected is quite loud and not especially efficient. Most people here...
