Compatibility and Requirements For Computer Parts Questions

So I am about to buy a new computer (the parts to build one) and I need to know some things about the parts first before I buy. If you could help me out that would be great.

1. Are these parts compatible? Will these parts all work with each other and not somehow make the computer not function?
2. Is the power supply powerful enough to handle this PC, or do I need to get a better power supply (more watts/different brand/ETC.)
3. I still have to buy windows, and I know I can buy it safely from (lets say) BestBuy for around $100, but I've also heard there are other ways to get the operating system. I have heard of downloads for free, very cheap prices off Ebay (my case won't take discs), messages popping up about copys of windows "not being genuine". Should I buy the operating system for $100? I'd rather go the cheaper way, but I need someone's opinion.
4. Is this a good setup for gaming on high end games (such as ARK and Rust)? Is there anything you would change to make this build better? Anything that could give me the same quality of gaming for a better price?
5. Anything else I should know?

Be wary of a 2TB disk for 49.99. If you limit the sellers to NewEgg (which is the only one I would trust) then the cost of one of those drives is $100+. The $49.99 disk is refurbished. I would NEVER buy a refurbished disk.

if you can wait a few weeks to order the video card look at the newer rtx 1070. for the same price as the older 1080ti it may be a better gpu. on your power supply also look at the seasonic focus units. if your going to use two gpu latter on go with an 850/1000w power supply. for windows 10 you can use an 8g usb stick and use the free microsoft media creation tool to make a bootable 1803 iso usb stick. when you install windows click on skip i dont have a windows key. windows 10 will have a small message it not registered and will run fine till you can buy a key from newegg or a known good seller. with the 1803 installer if you have a valid windows 7 key you can still get the free upgrade to windows 10. another thing to email microsoft support is with some version of windows 10/7 you can now move the os key from one pc to another. the last free way to get a windows 10 key is to be a windows insider tester. if you dont mind testing next version of windows on weekly updates. it not to bad. i been a tester for a bit now. not for people that dont like to nuke and pave there main os drive if the update bricks there pc.

Do you really need nvme? Sata and nvme difference in games is maybe about 3 seconds. Cheaper sata based one :
