[SOLVED] Compatibility and suggestions

Good day! I'm planning an upgrade an the week to come current specs are i7 4790, 8gb ram, gtx 1080. I've canvassed a few parts that fit my budget and so far i have these - MSI B460M-A PRO, i5 10500, gskill ripjaws 3200 2x8 16gb, and a samsung 970 evo ssd. im not really sure how well these parts go together, and if my choices are correct, because i pretty much had to stay within budget. please do feel free to make any suggestions and let me know if these parts are okay. thank you!

Good part choices there. Should be a pretty good upgrade. Just make sure your PSU is good quality.

Unfortunately that is Seasonic's one of the low quality unit in terms of efficiency. Lower quality units have a higher probability of failure. Change it if you can.

btw, are there any psu's you can recommend that wont break the bank? my budget is kinda tight unfortunately.

A good quality 550w should hold it together. 650w should be even better. This should be helpful...
