Hello everyone,

Like is in the title, yesterday i bought 2 stick of RAM (Kingston KVR13N9S8/4) but when i put them into a slot and start computer nothing happens. Old RAM model was (Kingston kvr1333d3s8n9/2g) and is pretty the same like a new one.

I updated the BIOS to the newest version but again nothing happens.
I also used "Crucial System Scanner" to see which RAM is compatible with my computer and saw that the new RAM i bought has same specifications like RAM which is offered to me on the "Crucial System Scanner" site.

Mobo : MSI G41 P28
CPU: Intel Celeron e3400 2,6Ghz

So I want to ask you, what should I do next?

how many slots do you have? i had the same problem i put them into a1&b1 and now they work fine
I have 2 slots. I returned the RAM back to a store, i found out that my chipset on mobo is using old tehnology. For example i need to use memory that is 256M x 16bit instead of 512M x 8bit and that was the problem. Check specifications of your MOBO and old RAM twice before you by new one.

These kits should work with your motherboard. I had the same G.Skill kit on an MSI P43 C51 I had upgraded to 16GB.
