Hello dear community,
I am a noob when it comes to building new rigs all from scratch, and decided I could give it a try.
I have build my list and already started receiving a couple of parts, decided to go with the ASUS Maximus VIII Extreme which is an EATX form factor.
Giving more importance to performance than looks, at first, didn't really look at cases at all till I saw that beautiful Phanteks ENTHOO EVOLV ATX GLASS (which accepts the EATXs).
PC PART PICKER shows no compatibility problems.
While doing my research I found out that the case is E-ATX *(up to 264mm wide), went onto the ASUS website and found out that the MOBO is 304.8mm x 271.78mm.
I know that it is straight forward and that with all those numbers, it seems impossible to fit that motherboard into that case, but I could use your expertise guys into maybe telling me if this has the slightest chance to work.
and If I can rely on the case's manufacturer when it says EATX.
Thanks in advance all.
