So I am making a somewhat budget gaming PC. I got the CPU for Christmas, and have 800 to spend on the rest. Is there anything I should change, or anyway to reduce price without reducing performance? Side Note: I already have a keyboard, mouse, and headset.

Looks Solid. A 500W PSU should be more than enough You won't need 650W unless you're thinking of Crossfiring but if you have the extra cash then why not

If you're thinking of OC'ing then you'll need a CPU cooler (Cheap/Efficient option = Hyper 212).

and if you can add extra $15, I d recommend Asrock Z77 Extreme4 .

I just want this system to last long. I don't plan on overclocking it for the time being, but I might in the future.

Even with a 7870 or 660 ti oc and the i5-3570k oc, a quality psu with 550w like the xfx is more than enough.
If you don't plan to oc, then don't get the cooler, but i advise you to get a better mobo(same price or less) like the ones i suggested and a better card(the 7870 or 660 ti is not much more than the card you chose).

I see u already made your decision . just want to add a quick point, if you are not planning to overclock get i5 3470 . you ll get same performance in gaming comparing with i5 3470k(in stock) .. you can buy i5 3470 now on Amazon for just $180... just my 2 cents.. good luck !

With this system, I really just want to get a solid lifespan right now. I already got the CPU (it was a Christmas present)
