Compatibility Check

While I'm sure that the number of compatibilty check posts must be annoying to many of the members of Tom's Hardware, I have one. Like every compatibility check poster, I'm a complete newbie when it comes to assembling computers. Anyway,here are the parts I wish to check. If there are equivalent options that sell for less, please let me know.

Intel® Core™ i5-3570K Processor
ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 Motherboard
Radeon HD 7970 Video Card
X-Fi Titanium HD Sound Card
Seagate 2TB Barracuda 3.5" Internal Desktop Hard Drive
CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

I haven't chosen a case or fan yet (by the way, does this motherboard take a full ATX case?), and the monitor and speakers are more of an afterthought. Thanks for reading my post, any help is very much appreciated.

do you really need sound card?
the psu and gpu might be incompatible wait for pros.

^ no incompatibility, cx600 is enough even for overclocking both i5 and 7970
