Compatibility? I am in need of the help.

My motherboard says FSB 1333/1066/800/533 MHz

Does that mean it only supports CPU's clocked under 1333 mhz? Or can I put a 3ghz core2duo in it.

It might help to know what motherboard and CPU we are talking about.

Generally speaking, the motherboard will select the appropriate FSB for the CPU installed. So depending on what C2D you are talking about it could be either 1066 or 1333.

Check web site of motherboard manufacturer to see if your desired CPU is supported.
