Compatibility Issue CPU / MOB / RAM

I was wondering if my parts are compatible with each other.

I believe everything should be compatible. I was not able to find the exact modle number on the ASRock support list. I have no video output so I am wondering if it could be the RAM. If any additional information is required please let me know! Thanks!

Your parts are compatible, that means that something in your PC has fried.
On my first attempt at building a pc, i plugged the case fan into the 4 pin and the motherboard, and i had the same problem of no video output.
In the end i figured out that it was both the motherboard and the ram.

Look at your motherboard, are there any exposed wires? If so you will more than likely need a new one!
Smell your RAM, does it smell burnt? Again, you will probably need new.

Another possible problem, do you have a separate graphics card or just the graphics from your APU? If you have a separate graphics card, dont use it to connect to your monitor just yet, instead use the integrated graphics on the motherboard. If you do get a video output when using the motherboard, go into the bios and set it up to use pci-e graphics. (I dont know how to do that, someone else on here will though!)

- 1 x CIR header
- 1 x COM port header
- 1 x HDMI_SPDIF header
- CPU/Chassis FAN connector
- 24 pin ATX power connector
- 4 pin 12V power connector
- Front panel audio connector
- 2 x USB 2.0 headers (support 4 USB 2.0 ports)

Do I need to connect both the 24 pin ATX power connector and the 4 pin 12V power connector? The reason I ask is because the PSU does not have a valid connector for the 4 PIN.

After looking at the specs it appears there is a 4 pin 12V connector... I did not see it. Maybe I'll have to check again...

You definitely need both. Depending on your PSU, it may be an 8 pin or a 4+4 pin but it will still fit.

By the 4 pin connector I am guessing you mean the CPU power?
Yep, you definitely need that! Thats your problem.

It will have some clips that allow it to snap in half and become 2, 4 pin connectors.

Ok, thanks for the help! I will have to double check when I get home. For some reason I remember seeing a 6 pin connector but no 4 or 8 even though the case specs say there should be a 4 pin.

That 6 pin connector will be a pci-e connector, to give power to graphics cards, so you wont need to worry about that!

It is getting late now in england so i wont be able to reply to you until the same time tomorrow...
