Compatibility Issue, need insight

Ok, so here is what I have just received in the mail...

Now, the problem is, the cooler I have is this...

Which I thought said was AM3 compatible, but now I see it does not say that at all. Long story short, will this cooler work with the CPU Mobo, or do I need something else?

The AM2 and AM3 sockets are identical. That's why there are AM2/AM3 combination motherboards. You should not have any problems.
