Hello everyone,
I want to build a Gaming PC, so I used the System Builder feature on PCPartPicker. But after I've selected everything it seems that I got 2 compatibiliy issues, but I don't know if my build would still work.
The Issues:
1. The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled.
2. The motherboard M.2 slot #2 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated with a PCIe-based M.2 drive, two SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports are disabled.
My Build:
CPU - Intel Core i7-8700K Boxed
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo (Red)
Motherboard - MSI Z370 GAMING M5 ATX LGA1151
Memory - Corsair Vengeance LED 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3200
Storage - Samsung 960 EVO 500GB M.2-2280 SSD
Storage 2 - WD Black Series 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM HD
Video Card - MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB GAMING X
Case - Phanteks Enthoo Luxe ATX Full Tower Case
Case Fan (3x) - Phanteks PH-F140SP_BK 82.1 CFM 140mm
Power Supply - be quiet! Pure Power 10 700W
Operating System - Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Monitor - LG 29UM59-P 29.0" 2560x1080 75Hz
Monitor 2 - HP VH240a 23.8" 1920x1080 60Hz
Keyboard - Logitech G413 Silver
Mouse - Logitech G900 CHAOS SPECTRUM
Mousepad - Corsair Gaming MM300 Extended
Headphones - Sennheiser GAME ZERO
Headphonestand - Corsair ST100 RGB Premium
Webcam - Logitech C922 Pro
Accessorie - NZXT Hue+ White/Purple
And if it doesn't work should I get a new motherboard, but which one? And if you guys see more issues I'd be very thankful for suggestions!
Anyway, thank you for reading and your time.
