Hello,

I am thinking of adding a Kingston 1GB RAM memory, part number KTH-D530/1G, to my Dell Dimension 1100 PC. More information about this memory can be found here:
http://

From the manual of my PC, the motherboard does accept 1-GB non-ECC 400-MHz DDR SDRAM and in theory, the Kingston KTH-D530/1G memory should be compatible with my Dell PC.

However, from the www.computermemorysolutions.com website, Dell Dimension 1100 is not mentioned as a PC with which the KTH-D530/1G memory is compatible.

Do you think that the KTH-D5301G memory will still be compatible with my PC even though Dell Dimension 1100 is not among the PCs in the Compatibility list of the Kingston KTH-D530/1G memory?

Thanks for reading

Kindest Regards
Jean Luc

Hi GhislainG.

Thanks for your reply.

Below are 3 RAM memories together with their part numbers.

1) Adata - SU1U400A1G3-B

2) Buffalo - DD4003-1G/BJ

3) Patriot - PSD1G400

All of them are 1GB 184-Pin DDR400 (PC 3200) non-ECC SDRAM Desktop Memory.

In theory, all the 3 memories should be compatible with my Dell PC. However, in practice, you never know.

Could you please tell me whether they are compatible with Dell Dimension 1100? I have made a research online but there was no information about whether the memories are compatible with Dell Dimension 1100 or not.
