ASRock H77 pro4-M Mobo (micro atx)
8gb ddr3 ram

My two questions are will this work and what case do i need?

No, actually, don't. Those are a PAIN IN THE ASS to work with; you'll be taking the whole machine apart every time you want to do anything as simple as add a hard drive. The one suggested above has very good airflow and is easy to work with, which is why it's so popular.

If you want a mix of the two without spending a ton of money, get something like this, or there are plenty of others of all price ranges ...
